You can request deletion of your Plate — Calories AI account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to request it.
How to Request Deletion
- From the app: Open the app → Profile → Settings → contact support with your account deletion request.
- By request: Reach out through the support/contact option listed on our Google Play store page with the subject "Delete my account", sent from the email address registered to your account (so we can verify ownership).
What Gets Deleted
When your deletion request is verified, we permanently delete:
- Your account (email, display name, password hash)
- Your profile and goal data (age, height, weight, activity level, targets)
- All logged meals, nutrition data, and uploaded meal photos
- Progress history, streaks, and weight entries
- Push-notification tokens linked to your devices
Timeline
Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Data We May Retain
We do not retain personal data after deletion, except where required by law (for example, records of the deletion request itself, kept without your profile content).
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account. Please use one of the methods above to request full deletion.
